Court Referral Program

SpectraCare’s Court Referral Program partners with municipal and circuit courts in Houston County to support individuals facing drug- or alcohol-related charges. Our compassionate Court Referral Officers provide evaluations, personalized referrals, ongoing monitoring, and drug screening services—all delivered with respect and understanding as you take steps toward positive change.

We focus on connecting you with local resources for treatment, recovery, and personal growth, while offering valuable recommendations to the court. In line with the Mandatory Treatment Act of 1990, our program complements court orders to help you build a healthier future. We also offer supportive psychoeducation classes, as well as Anger Management and Theft Alternative programs designed for those whose challenges may involve self-control or substance use. These convenient classes are held on Saturdays or evenings to fit your schedule.

Our Houston County Court Referral Program is located at 191 South Oates St., Dothan, AL. For questions about class schedules, enrollment, or how we can support you, please reach out to Access to Care at 1-800-951-HELP (4357). We’re here to help every step of the way.

Mobile Crisis Services – Houston County

Many individuals and families in Houston County served by SpectraCare live in areas where traveling to a Crisis Center or community mental health facility during a crisis may not be possible.

To meet this need, Mobile Crisis Teams (MCT) bring crisis services directly to individuals in their homes and communities throughout Houston County. SpectraCare provides timely, community-based responses to mental health and substance use crises.

Mobile crisis services are designed to reduce reliance on emergency departments and law enforcement while ensuring individuals receive the right care, at the right time, and in the right place.
